Innovative Practice / experimentation undertaken for greater impact

  1. As a team member work on a project “NO ADMONISHING ONLY TRANSFORMING” ONE RULE 4 FULL SCHOOL was sent to NCERT for Innovative Practices and Experiments. (Preliminary Information Attached)
  2. Started the “PROJECT BASED LEARNING” under the able guidance of Worthy Principal, in the session 2011-12.(FUN WITH MATHS)                   (Synopsis attached                                                        
  3. An innovative Practice for greater impact of teaching – learning process is by using
    “four principles of highly effective math teaching” under the able guidance of Worthy Principal, in the session 2010-11.  Principle 1: Let it make sense
    Principle 2: Remember the Goals
    Principle 3: Know our Tools
    Principle 4: Living and Loving Math
  4. Work on the project “EXCELLENCE IN MATHS through WORKSHEETS, ACTIVITIES & COMPUTER AIDED TEACHING” and “DEEP IMPACT” for Primary & Secondary Classes along with my colleague Dr.(Mrs.) Medha Upadhyay, PGT, Physics in the session 2009-10.
  5. Greater impact of value based education was practiced after conducting 05 days Orientation Programme on “GUIDANCE & COUNSELLING” organised by KVS, Delhi Region from 13-02-2006 to 17-02-2006 at KV JNU as a CO-ORDINATOR.
  6. Sensitizes the students through inspiring moral talks by self and recorded.
  7. Through the anecdotes of great scientists students are exposed to real life struggles and to emerge successfully. (Behind every step of success there is hard work.)
  8. Inculcates the spirit of Conservation of non renewable resources of energy to students, housewives, colleagues through slogans, rallies and demonstrations
  9. Counsels the parents to address the problems of children in a positive way.
  10. Letter of Appreciation is also awarded by Maithil Mahasangh, Nepal on 30-04-2011 for inculcating the commitment towards improving the social value with special emphasis on value based education at Kathmandu, Nepal.
  1. Work on the project “EXCELLENCE IN MATHS through WORKSHEETS, ACTIVITIES & COMPUTER AIDED TEACHING”.
  2. Optimum use of internet to nurture quest through com for reference work.
  3. Prepare power point presentation with animation to teach different lessons.
  4. The children were guided to prepare questionnaires for data collection
  5. The data collection was computed and analysed in the form Pie Chart, bar diagram to give results at a glance.
  6. Each group was asked to present the combined work of all and to make a power point presentation with animation (guided).
  7. This had enabled the students to critically analyse and compare the hypothesis and inference to arrive at the conclusion.
  8. This kind of deep study has enabled them to replace rote learning with conceptualized understanding.
  9. As in present scenario, all are computer savvy; encourage them to read online fun maths books like THEONI PAPPAS, etc. instead of playing games on computer.
  10. Show online videos from Meritnation and other educational sites to clear the concept and make study interesting.
  1. Prepared & Released a CD “DEEP IMPACT” on 23 November 2011 by His Excellency Jayant Prasad Ambassador of India at Kathmandu. (Learning by Doing).
  2. Converted waste material into a teaching aid for interactive learning.
  3. Master cards, Transparencies, Microsoft PPT’s, use of Internet, self created teaching aid kit from indigenous material to enhance student’s reasoning.
  4. Taken photographs of the different geometrical shapes/angles and motivated the students to find the different geometrical shapes from the surroundings/nature.
  5. Teaching aids made up from scrap items such as empty matchboxes, cardboard, cylinder interiors of toilet rolls, rubber bands, pieces of wire and the reverse sides of discarded posters etc.
  6. Extensive use of Newspapers for updating latest scientific knowledge and reports.

  10. Uses latest technologies like OHP, computer (PC),multimedia CD’s, auto evaluation through “self scoring sheets “,downloaded videos from YOU TUBE, MERITNATION and other Educational Sites.
  1. Encouraged students to refer to the books and use the library extensively.
  2. Develop language Skills through book reviews.
  3. As in present scenario, all are computer savvy; encourage them to read online fun maths books like THEONI PAPPAS, etc. instead of playing games on computer.
  1. Encouraged Scrap Book preparation by collecting paper cuttings of important articles on advancements of maths, events of science etc.
